Various opinions
may exist over the argument that people should spend money traveling and vacating
rather than saving it for the future. As far as I am concerned, I am in
complete agreement with the argument. The two ideas stated below can be valid
evidence to support my view.
First of all,
people can find emotional relief by spending money traveling or vacating
because it is more effective for boosting people’s moods than saving it for the
future. Today, many people are weary with too much stress. By investing their
money in traveling or other leisure activities, however, they can temporarily forget
about their problems and gain some breathing space. In this respect, spending
money on vacating can be a great means of invigorating people’s minds. My
personal experience can be used to prove this point. Every morning, I have to
get through traffic congestion to go to work and read through countless
documents. To make matters worse, I get exhausted coping with my subordinates
and bosses. Hence, as a way to relieve my stress, I often go on a trip spending
money I earned. Even if it is only for a short period of time, my feeling
become relaxed, and I am no longer thinking about the demanding requests at
work. Indeed, during this brief period of enjoyment, I am able to alleviate
tension and better prepare myself for the upcoming days.
Moreover, spending money traveling and
enjoying holidays is an excellent way of enhancing insights and outlooks since
it enables us to have more firsthand experience. While growing up, many people
are immersed by tons of information and knowledge about this world through
formalized education and they can easily become shortsighted if they do not
have chances to experience and broaden their horizon. The more one experiences,
the higher chances he will succeed in the long run. Therefore, in order to gain
well-balanced views and become more cultures, they are encouraged to invest
their money in traveling or vacationing and have as much experience as possible.
A research conducted by a renowned professor named David Cho from Stanford
University indicates that people who frequently spend their money on enjoying
leisure activities have diverse perspectives about the world whereas the
accomplishments is somewhat difficult for people who always save money for the
future. Likewise, his research proves that my argument is convincing.
To sum up, I believe my explanations above
sufficiently prove the advantages of spending money on traveling or
vacationing. Obviously, the significance of relieving stress or having various experiences
cannot be overemphasized enough. |
