▶ Your Answer : Some people think that the majority of business owners only pursue the wealth. However, in my opinion, many of business owners are not driven solely by the pursuit of wealth. There are two reasons: First, they manage their business by the pursuit of the human relationship. Second, there are owners who concentrate on distribution of the wealth. First of all, the majority of business owners want various of human relationships on a way of managing their businesses. They want to make a relationship by hiring employees and contacting with different business partners. From doing this, they can enlarge their realm and get enormous advices. The meaning of success has completely changed compared to the past. If it was merely focusing on one's way and exceeding others, now it is different. Along with your own ability, it is crucial to the recognized by others and have followers. In this sense, meeting a lot of people and broaden their networks can be helpful. For example, a study conducted by business consultant group in Korea is a good example of this. The researchers tracked the habits of 100 business owners who made wide relationships over a 2 year period. What they found was intriguing. The owners who achieved broad relationships were better at their orchestrating emplyees and managing their businesses than those who didn't make wide relationships. The reason was that meeting various kinds of people, they gained importance of relationships and didn't face their employees and other people rudely. So they could get help from others and managed their businesses efficiently. Second, the business owners can drive their business by the value of distribution of the wealth. Frankly, this issue is like a double-edged sword. It is also true that it can be possible under the circumstances their businesses earn a lot of money. However, I believe the advantages of sharing what they earned far outweigh those of gaining big wealth concerning the fact that distributing and sharing are eventaully what are left in shapes of donating and sponsoring. For example, there was a poll conducted by business marketing institution in Korea, with 300 male and female as respondants. The purpose of the survey was to understand the consensus view about the perception and appraise of business which acted vigorously to donate and supporting people. An overwhelming 70% had responded that businesses which distributed their wealth in any shape got many good reputations and their reliability in goods were noticeably high. This was mainly because quick activity on distribution of the wealth gave people and consumer good impression. So it related to consume that businesses' products directly and indirectly. To sum up, the business owners can drive their businesses for the human relationship. Moreover, they also can pursue the value of sharing wealth. In this regard, I firmly believe that the majority of business owners are not only driven by the pursuit of wealth. |
