▶ Your Answer :
It
is debatable whether universities should spend as much money on sports as they
do on libraries. This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning
this issue can be different relying on the individual perspectives. In my
opinion, however, I support that universities should spend money on sports for
the following reasons.
To begin with, spending money on
sports makes many students happy because it helps relieve stress and restore
health. To be specific, joining sport clubs allows students to build relationships
with others, which makes them better manage stress, maintain health, and build
a quality life. Stress is the main cause of disease and dissatisfying life.
Therefore, people in modern society should actively find ways to reduce stress
and stay healthy. For example, when I was a student in a university, I joined
the tennis club which makes me sweat a lot. It helped me forget about the
stressful aspects of my daily life such as taking exams and writing papers.
Through this experience, I realized that involving in sports is beneficial.
Therefore, this proves that spending money on sports makes many students happy
in order to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
In addition, universities should not
only spend money on libraries because students need to avoid adding pressure on
their already busy schedule. In other words, many students consume a lot of
time and energy in their studying for degrees, which makes students tired and
inefficient. Many students today are busy with their life full of tasks and
responsibilities. They can successfully multitask and stay focused at the same
time only if they keep a balance in their daily lives. To illustrate, Bill
Gates, who is the founder of Microsoft, has made great accomplishments in his
lifetime. I read online that he learned to manage a tight schedule and
prioritize important matters. He did this by always trying to find a balance
between work and play. Hence, this proves that universities should not only
spend money on libraries in order to effectively manage their life.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that
universities should spend money on sports. All things considered, it is my
belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and precisely
delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget that this
issue may have a huge impact on our future.
