▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether the extended family
is not as important now as before. This is an intriguing question because
opinions concerning this issue can be different relying on the individual
perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that the extended family is
still crucial now as well as before.
First of all, communicating with large
family members is useful because it helps relieve stress and restore health. To
be specific, questioning and answering allow people to solve their problems, which
as a result makes them better manage stress, maintain health, and build a
quality life. Stress is the main cause of disease and dissatisfying life.
Therefore, people in modern society should actively find ways to reduce stress
and stay healthy. For example, when I was young, I used to talk with my
grandmother whenever I had a truble with my friends. Whenever it happened, she
gave good solutions so I could have more stronger relationships with my
friends. Speaking with other family members also helped me forget about the
stressful aspects of my daily life such as taking exams and doing homeworks.
Through this experience, I realized that large family members gave me a lot of
opportunities to talk with. Therefore, this proves that communicating with large
family members is useful in order to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
In addition, older people have many
experiences which can broaden people's perspectives. In other words, many
experiences allow people to better understand other lifestyles, and perspectives.
As modern society is becoming increasingly globalized, today's world requires
people with international views. People can do this better by learning from
older people about how to save the money and build relationships with others.
To illustrate, Steve Jobs, who is the founder of Apple, made great
accomplishments in his lifetime. I read online that he was very successful
because he was global-minded and learned many other experiences from his
relatives. He did this by keeping asking about personal experiences from older
people. Hence, this shows that older people have many experiences in order to
broaden their views.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that the
extended family is still crucial now as well as before. All things considered,
it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and
precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget
that this issue may have a huge impact on our future.
