Opinions may vary depending on individuals over the argument whether people should spend money traveling and vacationing rather than saving it for the future. As far as I am concerned, I am in complete agreement with the argument. The two ideas stated below can be valid evidence to support my view.
Above all, traveling many places and meeting people show outstanding effectiveness in improving social skills. Modern society admittedly requires people who surpass others both in specialty and sociability. To be more specific, interpersonal relationships and social skills are necessary qualifications for any successful person. Therefore, given the need for collaboration in any work places today, experiencing many countries with friends and having more interaction with them clearly is more vital in building a more promising future because it provides people with the perfect opportunities to broaden social network. Thus, people should spend money for travel. A research conducted by a renowned professor named Carl Rogers from Toronto University indicates that people who often go to travel with others attain the goal of enhancing social skills in a much more effectual way when having the same accomplishments is somewhat stunted for people who do not travel with friends. Likewise, his research proves that my argument is convincing.
On top of that, traveling around the world and meet various people can usher people into right direction by teaching them precious life lessons and the true value of life. Some people are immature to have thorough understandings of life and are likely to become incapable of coping with problems at pivotal moments of their lives. At such times, taking a trip and experiencing many people offers chances for maturation and enlightens them about important values so that they can become a better person. Therefore, spending money for trip is necessary. According to a private survey conducted by Calgary University of Canada, more than 70 percent of respondents answered that they were strongly influenced by traveling abroad and getting along with many people. They also responded that if it had not been for their trip, they might not have realized their value of life.
Taking all of these reasons into consideration, we should agree with the given topic since it is important to improve social skills and realize their value of life. Needless to say, there is no doubt that spending money for travel and vacation will benefit their future.
