▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether
university students should be required to attend classes or should be able to
receive credits through a final test or paper. This is an intriguing question because
opinions concerning this issue can be different relying on the individual
perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that all students should
participate in their class, not just for getting grade for the following
reasons.
First of all, attending
classes accompanies and educational process. In other words, taking classes
every week make chances for students to study various and profound understanding,
which enable people to obtain valuable information, stay ahead, and attain
personal growth. People need to be educated throughout their lives because education
is the most powerful weapon that they can use to change the world. Hence, this
shows that taking part in classes is necessary since it contains a learning
process.
In addition, a university is a place learning
not only for academic knowledge, but also social skills. Because attending classes
and communicating and discussing with class mates helps people learn about building
relationships with others. To be specific, taking courses creates opportunities
for having a time with other class mates through group work such as team
presentation, which as a result allows people to learn how to build
relationships through communicating their thoughts and connecting to each other’s
feelings. Building relationships is a great way to develop the increasingly
important social, interpersonal, and communication skills. To illustrate, Evan
Spiegel, who is the founder of Snapchat, which is popular social media platform
in the US, has made great accomplishments at his early age. I read his
biography that he was very successful because he was able to build meaningful
relationships as well as networks with people in university. He did this by
taking various major courses and being inspired about his plan for a future
business from his friends in classes. Therefore, this proves that attendance at
a class is important to learn to embrace relationships.
All things considered, It
is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and
precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget
that this issue may have a huge impact on our future. |
