However, in my opinion, people should get enough sleep if they want to be healthier concerning the fact that the lack of sleep can cause mental distress and the fact that sleep can eliminate one's tiredness.
To begin with, when it comes to mental health, sleeping sufficiently can be of a big help. Suppose that you have mental discomfort due to your tasks at work. Would it be possible to keep a positive attitude? The answer will be no. The only key for maintaining the health in your mind is to having enough sleep. For example, there was a study conducted by a sociology major in Seoul National University to determine whether the amout of sleeping time effects on one's mental health. There were two groups in this study. The researchers asked the first group to sleep at least 8 hours per day and the other group to sleep only 4 hours per day. The researchers compared the outcomes and recored that the people of the former group had less stress than those of the latter group. This was because due to their enough sleeping time, the first group's people could work at their highest productivity and be self-confident.
Moreover, as far as one's tiredness is concerned, having proper sleeping time is a must. If you have a lot of exhaustion in your daily life, it is no proper way to exercise regularly. To a person who receiving persistent tiredness, getting enough sleep is the best method. Take my experience as an example. When I was so tired because of adaptation in a new work place, I had exercised everyday. However, I found out that i was becoming more tired rather than healthy. I visited a doctor to get some helps. The doctor said if stacked tiredness is my problem, I should have time to sleep sufficienly not to exercise. After that, I increased my sleeping time and became healthy progressively. Through this case, I realized that only through spending enough time to sleep, a person can keep in one's shape.
To sum up, since enough sleep can improve one's mind health and reduce one's exhaustion in daily life, it seems better to me to have enough sleeping time. In this regard, I firmly hold that people should spend sufficient time for sleep in order to foster thier healthy. |
