▶ Your Answer : Various opinions may exist over the argument that you are more likely to succeed with many different skills than with one skill. As far as I am concerned, I am in complete agreement with the argument. The two ideas stated below can be valid evidence to support my view. First of all, mastering many skills enables me to learn more and cultivate potential benefits and important facts. While I learn many different skills, I would be able to acquire many knowledge and backgrounds which I would not have gained only one skill. Moreover, it results in enhancing potentials, so I can have more opportunities to succeed in later time. It can be applied to many people. People nowadays are living in a world of meritocracy where only extremely talented people can survive. Consequently, many people suffer physically and mentally from tight schedules and highly competitive environments. In the long run, they can not but miss chances to delve into numerous issues for self-improvement. This explains why it is better to acquire many various skills in honing potential benefits that could have been overlooked. A research conducted by a renonwed sociologist named Janes Beniman indicates that people who have many valuable skills attain the goal of being successful person in a much more effectual way whereas having the same accomplishments is somewhat stunted for people who do not get many skills which will be helpful people's future. Likewise, his research proves that my argument is convincing. Therefore, I strongly affirm that many different skills is beneficial to be a successful person for me in later time. On top of that, I think that it is better for me to get many diverse skills so that I can acquire an outcompeting advantage over other candidates in a job market. Nowadays, people face fierce competitions in a job market since there are too much candidates with not so many jobs available. Consequently, it has become extremely difficult to find suitable and rewarding jobs. In order to become desirable job applicant and find success in my future career, I should become competent by learning as much as I can, including mastering many diverse skills and technics. According to a recent study conducted by a world top-tier university, when given choices of mastering many diverse skills and only getting one skill, the majority of people willingly chose the former option and they also readily admitted that the advantages of the former option far outweigh those of the latter one. By getting many different skills, they could gain superior position over other candidates which they could ahrdly acquire in other methods. Likewise, this result indicates that my argument is totally right. As a result, I strongly make sure that learning many diverse skills brings out numerous benefits on the job markets and helps me be very successful person. Taking all of these into considerations, I should agree with the idea since it is important to gain potentials and have several advantages in a job market. Needless to say, there is no doubt in my opinion that mastering many different skills surely is the better option for me. |
