Some people might think that they or their family can solve many problems that is important without a help of the government while others do not agree on that. Both sides have their own reasons to support their views. However, If I were asked to choose one, I would say that it will be needed to have intervention of the government to solve some issues. Because some matters are too sophisticated and massive to be resolved by individual's efforts. To begin with, nowadays, we have a variety of problems that is important for us to maintain our daily lives such as global warming, traffic jam, or destruction of the ozone layer. These problems are so vast and complicated that we cannot solve them by ourselves or families. For example, I will talk about my own experience. When I was in high school, there were a lot traffic near my school. Since the traffic congestion was so severe, I could not take a bus or drive a car. Instead, I had to walk for an hour to go to school and I was often late at school. It was hard to find solutions because there was only one narrow-road which connected with a big town of the city and people had to use it to go to their work. Furthermore, there were no detour road to escape the traffic congestion. My family and I had no options to consider but moving to a new city. However, when Mr. Kim took office as mayor, he considered this problem as serious thing so the government started to find solutions with many specialists and construct a new road. Finally, this road could solve the traffic jam problem and I could take a bus or taxi to go to my school. Without the government’s efforts, I would not have taken a bus or a car to go to my high school and been in time. To sum up, I strongly believe that we have to get assistance of the government since some problems cannot be dealt with by individuals. All things considered, people should not be hesitate to report problems and accept aid of the government.
